Chicago loves festivals. There are food fests, cider fests, large beer fests, small specialty beer fests… just about every type of festival you can imagine. We took them all, combined them, and moved into Chicago’s best venue -- Grant Park.

Because while every year is special, this year is going to be extra special. Chicago Ale Fest will be setup like a set of small, specialty festivals within one giant beer fest. It’s going to be beautiful.

The Mini Festivals

Food Truck Fest

There are few things we love more than food trucks. That’s why we’re packing Chicago Ale Fest with a mini food truck fest, and bringing nine of our favorite trucks in the gates. Besides the 200+ craft beer options, you’ll have tons of tasty food options to pair.

Cider Alley

Cider Alley is a special place at our festival for those with a taste for something outside of the beer lane. It’s a tasty side trip from the malts, yeasts and hops into the world of ciders. We’ll be featuring craft ciders from Chicago and beyond, all perfect summer sipping.

House of Funk

The House of Funk celebrates all things wild aged, all things sours -- all things funky. It’s a phrase that non-craft beer drinker might find, well -- off-putting. But those in the know know that there’s just something special about wild yeast and funky flavors.

The West Coast IPA Tent

We love IPAs. And while every region has their own special IPA variety, The West Coast is special. Because no one does hop-forward India Pale Ales quite like the breweries that invented them on the West Coast. We’ll be showcasing some of our favorite examples in this tent.

Lager Lane

The growing trend of craft lagers is one that we at Chicago Ale Fest and Lou Dog Events are really excited about. These aren’t your watered down, fizzy yellow “domestic beers.” They’re full-flavored and complex, sometimes with a touch of hops, but always easy-drinking.

Tickets are on sale now! Yes, Summer may still feel like it’s far away but you’ll want to jump on these before they sell out.
